The Dirty Bike Campout is located on 15 acres of private land 3 miles north of Red Lodge along Hwy 212. There is an area for tent camping and plenty of room for trucks, trailers and RV's dry camping. There are no water/electric hook ups. Portable Bathrooms and Wash Stations will be available.
The Dirty Bike Poker Run is right around 100 miles. It consists of dirt and gravel surfaces with single track options available in a number of areas. It is designed to be a fun, scenic route that takes you out in the hills. We made the route to be doable by big ADV bikes and smaller Dualsports as well. Very little pavement, (less than 10 miles) but enough that the bike must be plated. We will have sweep riders follow up for any needed support and bikes with limited fuel range can send a can with a struck that will be at the middle stop. A bonus card will be available to riders who challenge a large, loose and rocky hill that features a water crossing at the bottom.
While portable toilets and a wash station will be provided, we don't have showers. However, Red Lodge City Pool sells a day pass for $8.00 which includes swimming and showers. This a new facility and open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The nights are cool so make sure you have warm layers. Bring a camp chair for music and relaxing. Water bottles and coffee mugs would be helpful. Rain gear for intermittent afternoon storms along with bug spray and suncreen.
